Friday the 13th Outdoor Spooky Wedding in the Ozarks
One of my favorite parts of the job is getting to know our couples before the big day. And while some bookings happen “sight unseen,” every phone call, FaceTime, and eventual in-person meeting with Nic & Kate just confirmed how perfect they were for Stewart Farms Co-Op.
Their personalities? Fun, laid-back, and full of love. It was a joy to share this outdoor venue with them and their beautiful little family. Since most of their guests weren’t local, the Ozarks became a home base—folks came from all over the country to celebrate. They even rented a nearby BnB (just 10 minutes away) to give their crew space to spread out, relax, and really take in the full overnight wedding weekend experience.
Every detail felt effortless—but so intentional. They chose Friday the 13th, Kate rocked a non-traditional black wedding dress like a total icon, there was a donut bar, late-night Chick-fil-A, and the best part? Custom Friday the 13th tattoos.
We turned one of our air-conditioned dressing rooms into a mini tattoo parlor, and guests got in on the fun too. That’s what a wedding weekend at a farm venue like this can be—spontaneous, creative, and entirely your own.
